What “over-kill” means?

We could understand that protecting a big truck with small CouplerTec system is silly; protection from rust would be insignificant. But what if we put 12 COMM on a small car?
Garry replied with simple »Over-kill. « But what he meant by it? Will battery die? Will car explode? Will car melt? Will metal begin wild growth? (joke)
None of the above. A bigger system than needed on a vehicle within automotive range or within commercial range cannot cause any harm or damage to the vehicle in any way. It’s just completely unnecessary.

So now we know – it’s over-kill. :)
